Bernard Wolfsdorf
Bernard P. Wolfsdorf is an American immigration lawyer, the past President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is the founder and Managing Partner of Wolfsdorf Immigration Law Group, located in Los Angeles and New York.
Born in South Africa, he immigrated to the United States in the early 1980s, and has worked in immigration law〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Mr Bernard Pavel Wolfsdorf, Attorney )〕 ever since. He has published many professional articles on U.S. immigration and has lectured at national and international conferences in the field. In 2009, Wolfsdorf successfully petitioned the U.S. Court of Appeals in the 9th Circuit in the matter of ''Kazarian v. USCIS'',〔http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/datastore/opinions/2010/03/04/07-56774.pdf〕 a landmark in the struggle for immigration reform for extraordinary scientists and outstanding researchers. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals decided that USCIS may not “unilaterally impose novel substantive or evidentiary requirements beyond those set forth (the law ).〔(Immigration Daily Article "Kazarian v.
